Android L come up with a new feature where it has ability to block all the notifications. For this you can open the quick settings panel in the notification panel and set the notification to silent mode. You can turn it to silent mode for a period by setting the time or permanently switch it off.

Android L comes up with better power management tools, where with battery usage details, you can even know how long it will take to fully charge the battery. It even shows how long your phone will run and when your phone will die.

Brightness Setting

Google introduced a new feature for brightness setting caked Adaptive Brightness that combines both manual and auto brightness. You can manually adjust the brightness level and then once its set, your screen will automatically adjust based on ambient light so it stays to at same brightness relative to the light around you.
